South Korea Stages “Elephant Walk” With Over 30 F-15K Fighters

South Korea held an “elephant walk” exercise on the 24th.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean Air Force said on May 25 that more than 30 F-15K fighters were dispatched for an “elephant walk” the day before (24th).

Earlier, the South Korean military organized 28 F-35A stealth fighters to conduct an “elephant walk” on March 25 in response to North Korea’s test-fire of an intercontinental ballistic missile. South Korean Defense Minister Suh Wook inspected the site to check the air force’s alert situation.

The so-called “elephant walk” means that before taking off, multiple military planes slide end to end with the smallest spacing for the shortest time to take off.
